Dry powder extinguishers are suitable for areas with multiple risks and are ideal for use on solid combustibles, flammable liquids and electricity as they extinguish fires by interrupting the chemical reaction and cutting off any oxygen supply. This makes them ideally suited to areas using chemical processes, welding and flame cutting equipment and premises with large boiler rooms.

• Dry powder extinguisher suitable for multi-risk areas and for use on all types of fires, with the exception of Class F fires (cooking oils and fat)
• Specifically suited to Class A (solids), B (liquids) and C (gases) fires, as well as electrical fires
• Consider dry extinguishers carefully when purchasing one for premises with electrical goods as the residue may be harmful to electronics
• Contents are dangerous if inhaled and can obstruct vision
• This fire extinguisher should be placed in an accessible location, preferably on an exit route or near to identified risks, with appropriate signage
